Launch of the MOVES | Promotoras Van Program
Visión y Compromiso™ and Councilwoman Mónica Rodríguez are pleased to invite you to the Launch of the MOVES–Promotoras Van Program
Our community will gather to celebrate the launch of the Promotoras Van Program (MOVES) in Los Angeles County.
MOVES (Mobile Outreach for Vulnerable and Engaged Support) is a mobile outreach program focused on value, equity, and sustainability. With the support of the Centene Foundation and Health Net, this three-year initiative will be implemented by Visión y Compromiso through the Promotoras Van Program, which will provide:
- A mobile unit staffed by promotoras and partner community-based organizations
- Health care services and social supports, meeting people where they are
- Improved access to health care
- Promotion of health equity
